Mr Tim Waters is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in hips and knees. He received specialist orthopaedic training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and subsequently spent a year in Australia on the prestigious Sydney Hip and Knee Surgeons’ international fellowship.

Mr Waters is Clinical Director for Trauma and Orthopaedics at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust. His practice focuses on complex orthopaedic surgery. He receives referrals from colleagues and consultants from other hospitals for the management of difficult cases, particularly problems with previous hip and knee replacement surgery. He has been awarded five clinical excellence awards.

Privately he practices at Spire Bushey and Harpenden Hospitals. His sub-speciality interests are hip and knee surgery including knee and hip replacement, partial knee replacement, arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), ligament reconstruction, complex revision joint replacements and patient-specific knee surgery.
